Description

Emitters are working elements of infrared electric heaters, infrared heating panels, infrared tunnel ovens, etc. and in the configuration presented below cannot be used as independent electric heating devices.

You can buy infrared quartz emitters by contacting our managers in the contacts section.

Emitters of the IKN-100 series

with a concave emitting surface They are used in electric infrared heaters for household and industrial use, in infrared radiators for saunas, in drying and roasting electric cabinets, in radiant infrared dryers with distributed radiation sources and high surface radiation intensity, where the distance from the radiator to the heating surface is, as a rule, not less 100-250 mm.

Emitters of the IKN-200 series

flat emitting surface They are used in flat panels of infrared low-temperature long-wave heating of elements of technological systems, in flat panels for radiation drying of thin-film materials with a minimum distance to the radiation surface and uniform distribution of the specific radiation power on the material surface at a distance from the radiator to the heating surface no more than 50-70 mm.

Specifications

Infrared ceramic heating elements of the IKN-100, IKN-200 series are made of refractory ceramic material that can withstand high thermodynamic loads. The heating rate (thermal shock) is up to 500 ° C/min, the maximum temperature of the radiating surface is up to plus 750-860 ° C in the conditions of convection of the surrounding cold air. The number of heating/cooling cycles with 100% efficiency is at least 10000 cycles.

The reliability and durability of the emitters is also determined by the outer coating of the ceramic product. TSC emitters are covered with a dull engobered ceramic glaze based on zirconium oxide, which is absolutely insensitive to dust and organic contaminants (burned out and removed from the surface with a brush), to high humidity and condensation during cooling, the presence of chemical compounds in the air of the heating chamber. The matte engobed surface of the TSC emitters has the highest degree of emissivity during radiation, equal to 0.94-0.96, which confirms the high efficiency of their use in infrared heating processes with the maximum thermal efficiency (radiation efficiency) of IR electric heaters generally.

The heating wire electric spiral, built into the ceramic body of the emitter, is made of a multicomponent alloy Fe-Cr-Al (superfechral GS SY) with alloying elements Si, Mn, Zr, Ti, Y and, in terms of its performance characteristics, significantly surpasses the electric heaters made of alloys used for these purposes fechral and nichrome in accordance with GOST 12766.

Emitters are produced in a conventional version (version 1), as well as with a built-in sensor for the temperature of the emitting surface (version 2). The temperature sensor is a thermoelectric converter ТХА (chromel-alumel) type "K" (NiCr-NiAl) in accordance with GOST R 8.585 with contact leads. These emitters are used in quartz IR heaters, IR heaters for saunas, as lamps for heating animals, etc.

The design of the radiators includes a special mounting base with uniform dimensions for mounting inside the heaters. Overall and connecting dimensions for different brands of emitters are given on the corresponding pages of the site.

Emitters are available with a supply voltage of 220/230 V, 50 Hz and with a normalized electrical power consumption (radiation power). In agreement with the consumer, it is possible to produce a batch of emitters with a different power and supply voltage that does not exceed the limit values for this brand of emitter. It is possible to change (increase) the length of the electrical wires (cable terminals) for connecting the emitter to the power grid, as well as change the color of the emitter.
