Mineral insulated flat, disc, L- and U-shaped heaters

Description

Mineral insulated flat, disc, L- and U-shaped heaters

Micanite flat electric heaters are designed to heat flat surfaces and are used to heat a wide range of equipment, materials and products - casting molds, extruders, glue machines, molds, stone products, granite or marble racks, etc.

The heating source in such heaters is the tape inside the metal case. Highest quality Kanthal tape with high resistivity and stainless steel body. The function of electrical insulation is performed by a layer of mikanite, which is a heat-resistant inorganic material, located inside the housing.

The characteristics of mikanite in a number of parameters exceed the requirements of GOST.

The high quality of the materials used for the manufacture of micanite flat heaters ensures their long service life.

At the request of the customer, it is possible to manufacture heaters of complex shapes: U-shaped, L-shaped, angular, etc.

It is possible to manufacture heaters with different cutouts and / or holes. However, it must be emphasized that the holes in the flat heater reduce the total heating area, hence the heating efficiency decreases. It is strictly forbidden to make holes in the finished heater.

Micanite flat heaters have only one working side. The maximum heating temperature of the working surface of the heater is up to 450 ° C, the specific power is up to 5W per 1cm2 heating surface.

When installing heaters of this type, one should take into account the need to ensure tight contact of the heated surface with the working surface of the heater and uniform removal of thermal energy from its surface. For these purposes, clamping devices are used. In addition, the surface of the heated object should be as regular as possible, with a minimum of roughness, without cavities and protrusions. In case of insufficient and / or uneven removal of energy from the heating surface of the heater, the heating efficiency decreases, and the heater may fail due to overheating.

Metal flat heaters are not hermetically sealed; they cannot work in an environment with high levels of humidity. However, thanks to the metal housing, the small amount of moisture that has got on the heater does not affect its functioning.
