Application and working principle
Heated fuel intake nozzles of the NTP-100 series are intended for heating diesel fuel in the intake zone in the fuel tank. They work in pre-launch and cruise modes.
The attachments are designed to take up to 420 l / h of fuel at temperatures from -40 to + 5 ° C.
The warm-up time in the pre-start period is 5 - 10 minutes.
Installation
They are installed on a standard fuel intake with a tube diameter of 10 and 12 mm and a supply voltage of 12 and 24 V. The attachments include a slotted coarse fuel filter, a vibration-resistant fire and explosion-proof heater, a device for fastening to the end of the fuel intake tube.
The nozzle is connected to the vehicle's electrical system according to the connection diagram (see. passport).
Control
The heater is switched on and off using a switch located in the cab.
A lit LED in the cab indicates that the heater is on.
Quality and guarantees
They remain operational when the supply voltage changes within 90-125%.
The service life of the heater is at least 5 years, the mean time between failures is at least 3000 hours.
Choosing a model
To select a model, you need to know the voltage of the on-board network (12V or 24V).
The attachments also differ in power. To select a model, it is necessary to take into account the presence of other heaters or any other consumers operating from the battery at the same time. If available, it is recommended to select heaters of lower power in order to reduce the load on the battery during the pre-start period.
Model list:
| Model | Voltage | Power |
|---|---|---|
| NTP-101 | 12B | 70W |
| NTP-102 | 24B | 100W |
For best results, the attachment is recommended to be installed together with a fine filter heater (shroud or disc).
