Flexible heaters ELAN series

A universal heater designed for heating fuel pipelines, filters, including those with a plastic casing, any branch pipes, distribution units, valves, etc.

It is a flexible silicone tape of fixed dimensions with sealed leads.

This type of heater can be used as a universal means for heating units and parts that are problematic or even impossible to heat in another way due to their complex shape or size.

In addition, during contact heating of structures made of plastic, heaters must be used with caution because of the danger of local overheating and plastic melting. A typical example is a fine filter in a plastic housing, on which a band heater cannot be installed. In this case, the problem of heating the filter can be solved by an elastic flexible heater of the ELAN series. These heaters have the power and surface temperature to be safely installed on plastic parts.

The installation method of the heater is selected depending on the shape of the heated surface.

The heating tape is tightly wound or applied to the surface of the heated fuel line assembly and secured with clamps or plastic ties, and then connected to the vehicle's on-board network according to the diagram (see. passport).

The heater is switched on and off using a switch located in the driver's cab.

The surface of the heater is waterproof, resistant to various aggressive media and remains elastic up to -60 ° C.

They remain operational when the supply voltage changes within 90-125%.

The service life of the heater is at least 10 years, the mean time between failures is at least 3000 hours.

So, to select a model, you need to know the supply voltage of your car (12 or 24V) and the length of the heater.
