Disc heaters PD-200

Disk heaters PD-201 and PD-202 are designed for pre-starting and mid-flight heating of diesel fuel passing through a fine filter at ambient temperatures from + 5 ° C to -40 ° C.

The heater has been specially designed for filters that are threaded into the filter cover (see technical data).

A feature of this type of heater is that it combines the functions of flow heating, when the fuel elements of the heater are directly in the fuel flow, and preheating, when the filter housing is heated before starting the engine through contact with the heater. The recommended duration of pre-heating the filter from the battery is 5-10 minutes. In the cruising mode with the engine running, it will take approximately one minute to increase the temperature of the diesel fuel by 1 ° C.

You can evaluate the efficiency of the heater by watching a video recorded during tests on the intensity of heating of the fine filter.

The initial filter temperature is -22 ° C. Demonstration speed increased by 10 times. The real warm-up time is shown in the upper right corner.

The heater is installed between the cover and the fuel filter according to the assembly diagram. The set of the heater also includes an aluminum adapter ring and a replaceable fitting, which allow installing the heater in case of insufficient length of the standard fitting (see. installation diagram).

The heater is switched on and off using a switch located in the passenger compartment. Control over the inclusion is carried out by the LED indicator.

The design of the heaters excludes the possibility of overheating and optimizes energy consumption.

They remain operational when the supply voltage changes within 90-125%.

The service life of the heater is at least 5 years, the mean time between failures is at least 3000 hours.

So, to select a model, you need to know the supply voltage of your car (12 or 24V) and make sure that your filter has a thread on the metal case M16x1.5 mm.
